When the Euro 2012 managers gathered in Warsaw this week only one nation was unable to comply but England's plight provoked sympathy rather than ridicule from their rivals.
Republic of Ireland boss Giovanni Trapattoni doesn't think they will miss Fabio Capello but Russia's Dick Advocaat thinks they will.
Sweden's Erik Hamren thinks it does not matter who stands on the touchline when his team meets England in Kiev but Croatia's Slaven Bilic thinks there is only one man for the seat filled for the purposes of this workshop by the FA's director of football development Sir Trevor Brooking.

'If you ask the people it's Harry. If you ask the players it's Harry. If you ask the managers it's Harry. If you ask the people in Croatia it's Harry,' said Bilic. 'Even Messi has a rival in Ronaldo. Harry is on his own.'
Harry Redknapp signed Bilic as a player at West Ham in 1996, bringing him to English football from Germany before selling him to Everton a year later, and he expects the Tottenham boss to answer a call from his country when it comes.
'For an Englishman to become England manager, there is nothing better,' said Bilic. 'One of the biggest things for a modern manager is to cope with players' egos and Harry can do it. That is his strength.
